Classes are for ages 12 and up, to Master Classes for working professionals.

Are you rusty and need to keep your chops up for work?
Do you need to prepare for a career in LA or NYC?
Or are you an experienced community theatre actor who wants to work in commercial theatre, film and television?
As a Life Member of The Actors Studio, I am committed to cultivating the highest level of professional acting.
Actors, like musicians and athletes, need to work out to stay in shape and finely tuned.
Classes include physical and vocal warms up, exercises to develop the intuition and imagination, improvisation, sense memory and affective memory, monologues, scene work, character development, script analysis and breakdown, cold readings, auditions,on camera, film techniques, career development and the business of the industry.
Actors, singers, dancers, writers, directors and other artists learn how to tell story effectively.
My classes are professionally conducted practical classes with the focus on individual performance. I am often sought for casting and have successfully placed students in roles. I support my students getting jobs in the business whenever possible and a high percentage of them secure work in the industry within months of studying with me. (Those who are interested in working behind-the-scenes will gain valuable experience and have unique opportunities.) Occasionally, opportunities arise for students to attend special/private/invitation only events both here and in LA, and chances and meet industry icons.
Monday night classes are 6 -10 PM for $200 a month, and Saturday afternoons 1 - 4 PM for $150 a month.
PSWIFT MEMBERS receive a 10% discount.
A three month commitment is required. There is a one time only $10 registration fee per student.
Leave of absences can be arranged, and with advance notice, missed classes are credited.
When you register you will be given directions and an orientation.
