FEATURED MEMBER - BONNIE GILGALLON

Valley residents have heard Bonnie for nearly 10 years as a news anchor/reporter on K-NEWS radio. Favorite acting roles include Miss Mona in “Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” & Hattie in “Laundry & Bourbon”, which brought her one of 2 Desert Theatre League Awards. She’s also hosted the Awards Gala 4 times. For 4 years she was the on-camera host of “Desert Living & Entertainment”, which showcased valley businesses. A jazz/pop vocalist, Bonnie is heard frequently at clubs including Melvyn’s, Tony’s Pasta Mia, & Amore. Last year she understudied Teresa Ganzell in “Viagara Falls” at the Indian Wells Theatre to great reviews. She recently starred in “Like Mother, Like Hell” with Playwright’s Circle, and was featured in “It’s Better With a Band” – the final Musical Chairs concert of the season. Bonnie hosts “The Desert Scene” every Saturday on K-News Radio, and is in the (very long) process of writing a book about her experiences with clinical depression.
