Television/Film Writer & Producer, Author Halperin received her degree from the Pasadena Playhouse Theatre of Fine Arts with a major in directing. She has consistently worked on projects in the arts from distributing feature films, agenting actors, directing stage productions and working on hundreds of hours of television as a writer and producer. She recently produced world music concerts and ballets all over the United States in venues such as Lincoln Center and UCLA’s Royce Hall. Halperin is the author of RESCUE ME, HE’S WEARING A MOOSE HAT, published in 2006 and optioned for a feature film by three time Oscar nominee Frank Darabont’s Darkwoods Productions. She recently produced The Patti Gribow television show here in the Valley, was a producer on the feature film ADOPT A SAILOR, and currently is writing another novel and is Supervising Producer on three projected PBS projects.
