About Women in Film & Television - Palm Springs

Women in Film is an international nonprofit organization founded in Los Angeles in 1973 to empower, promote, nurture and mentor women (and men) in the entertainment, communications and media industries. Today, Women in Film - Palm Springs is the 38th Chapter of Women in Film and Television International with over 10,000 members worldwide.

Mission Statement:

Women In Film - Palm Springs' purpose is to empower, promote, nurture and mentor women and men in the entertainment, communication, and media industries to achieve their highest potential through a network of valuable contacts, educational programs and events. Women in Film - Palm Springs also increases the visibility of women and recognizes their achievements in these industries.
