COACHELLA VALLEY BOOKPALS ~ In January 2010 the Bookpals program was adopted by Palm Springs Women in Film and Television, reading to over 2,246 children weekly, in person and online in the Coachella Valley. Celebrities like Patrick Warburton, Donna Mills, Willie Garson and others have read books online to keep children engaged in reading. FILMMAKERS LAB ~ is a hands on education program that teaches members how to make a film, from start to finish. We have created two short films, "Accidental Date" filmed in downtown Palm Springs, Dec, 8th and 9th, 2020 which has been entered into short festivals and “Aftermath” which filmed in early 2021. Our next project is a digital series "Dial Emme For Murder" based on the books by Eileen Davidson who will also star. 

SCHOLARSHIPS ~ Every year PSWIFT gives scholarship money to aspiring filmmakers in the Coachella Valley.  We have partnered with The Green Room Theater to provide scholarships to students from the Ophelia Project on an annual basis, and the Denise Dubarry Hay Scholarships which has awarded scholarships to participants of the Musical Theater University. 

EDUCATIONAL PANELS ~ which teaches members the ins and outs of the entertainment business by inviting some of the best filmmakers in their field. 

SPEAKERS SERIES ~ features many actors, writers and other filmmakers though our live and virtual series which gives members an insight in to the entertainment world. 

BROKEN GLASS AWARDS ~ celebrates and honors those who excel in their field at an annual awards event. 

MIXERS ~ networking mixers throughout the Coachella Valley, live and virtually so that our members can connect with one another.
