The Power of Local News Luncheon

Don’t miss PSWIFT’s primary fundraising event for our scholarship program this year – a luncheon happening March 26, 2024, at the Classic Club. The event is titled, “The Power of Local News,” and will include a panel of Coachella Valley journalism experts who will provide insights on the important role local news plays for those of us who live and work in the Coachella Valley.

The Power of Local News is an ideal way for local businesses, nonprofits and those in our community to discover how local news works and learn ways to help shape local media coverage.

Proceeds from this fundraiser luncheon will help provide scholarships for Coachella Valley high school students as well as students entering post-secondary education programs at locally-based colleges/universities who are seeking future careers in fields related to PSWIFT’s mission.
